Welcome to the website of the International Conference on Learning. In 2009, the Learning Conference will be held at the University of Barcelona, Spain from 1-4 July.
The International Conference on Learning is for any person with an interest in, and concern for, education at any of its level - from early childhood, to schools, to higher education - and lifelong learning in any of its sites, from home to school to university to the workplace.
It will address a range of critically important themes relating to education today. Main speakers will include some of the world's leading thinkers in the field of education, as well as numerous paper,workshop and colloquium presentations by researchers and practitioners.
Participants are also welcome to submit a presentation proposal either for a 30-minute paper, 60-minute workshop, a jointly presented 90-minute colloquium session. Parallel sessions are loosely grouped into streams reflecting different perspectives or disciplines. Each stream also has its owntalking circle, a forum for focused discussion of issues. For those unable to attend the Conference in person, virtual participation is also available.

This talk will provide you with information about prerequisites, realization and outcomes of post doctoral fellowships in general and specifically with details on how my own post doctoral fellowship unfolded.
